Terms of service

Last updated 10 September 2026

This page is a translation, provided for convenience. The Italian version is the binding one, and where the two differ it prevails.

These terms cover runto.page, the dashboard and the API. You accept them when you create an account, and you accept them by calling the API, whether or not you ever open the dashboard. If you do not want them, do not use the service.

Who you are dealing with

runto.page is run by www.gabrielecabrini.it. There is no VAT number behind it. Everything goes through info@runto.page.

What the service does

You pick a slug, you point it at a URL, and runto.page redirects to it. You can change the destination later or switch the link off. The free plan is free and stays free. The API is part of the same service and these same terms apply to it.

Your account

One account belongs to one person. Use an address you can actually read, since confirmation and password resets go there. Keep your password and your API token to yourself: anything done with them counts as done by you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has them. You need to be at least 16.

What you must not do

Slugs, trademarks and other people's names

Slugs are handed out first come, first served. We do not check them against trademarks, company names or anybody's brand, and registering one gives you no right over the word itself. By taking a slug you state that you may lawfully use it, and the responsibility for that choice is yours alone.

We take no responsibility for a slug that carries someone else's trademark or name, and we are not a party to any dispute between you and a rights holder. This holds on every plan, paid ones included, if paid plans ever exist. If a rights holder writes to info@runto.page with a credible claim, we may disable the link or take the slug back without waiting for a court to decide, and we will tell you when we do.

When we switch things off

We may disable a single link, suspend an account, or delete an account together with all of its links, when:

Where we reasonably can, we write first and give you a chance to fix it. For something plainly illegal or actively causing harm we act first and explain afterwards. A slug that has been retired is not put back into circulation, so nobody inherits your old traffic. You can walk away whenever you like and ask us to delete the account at info@runto.page.

No warranty, no liability

The service is provided free of charge, as it is and as it happens to be available, with no warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for redirects that fail, traffic you lose, downtime, deleted data, or anything that happens on a site one of these links points to. We neither control nor review destinations, and a redirect is not an endorsement of what sits at the other end. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you and does not let you waive.

Your links stay yours

Whatever rights you hold in your links and their destinations remain yours. We store them and serve them for the single purpose of running the service.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, and the date at the top will say when. Carrying on with the service means you accept the new version. If you do not, stop using it and ask us to delete the account.

Privacy

What happens to your data is set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
